As you can see by the nearly 3 hour length, it’s easy for people to drop in and blab. Of course if it’s about motorcycles, it’s that much easier. \u00a0<\/p>\n
It’s my job as the producer to make people feel at home and get the story out. Some times that takes three hours (the sidecar episode was another example). It’s also my job to keep people on track and keep the show rolling, but there’s always the chance that it takes three hours to get a good story and you’re just going to have to do a lot of editing. <\/p>\n
After sitting in basically a virtual pit for three hours recording (think sitting trackside in canvass chairs with beers, but no pop-up overhead), I re-listen to the show and edit for content, privacy, and sometimes to avoid lawsuits.
