In this episode I would have liked to bring you a brief history of motorcycling so that we could talk about the future. It turns out, I kind of go the other way.
\nThat’s probably thanks in no small part to the fact that I listen to a lot of history podcasts, and they do such a great job of providing the minutia of the past in an entertaining way.
\nHaving said that, they also are good at what they do and actually research the past. I had 2 pages of notes and still couldn’t get out of 1898. Fuck.
\nAs a reprieve for the historical hiatus, I try to shine a light on last episode’s guest and talk about the WIR RSD drags that happened on May 7th. – Um, or 6th. You can see why trying a history podcast was not playing to my strengths.
\nSo screw it all, let’s talk about fabrication a bit and some motorcycle technology. What else do we have to lose. Then it gets fun again.
\nI hope you enjoy this week’s show, or at least find it useful enough to cover up the screams of the gassy baby next door, or the barking dog across the street. At worst it could put you asleep at your cubicle and get you fired. <\/p>\n
