BILTWELL 100 Practice at the Ranch!

Ordinary riders doing extraordinary things

BILTWELL 100 Practice at the Ranch!

The Following is from our friend, Brady Walker!! –

Howdy y’all!

Are you ready to take on the Biltwell 100 for the first time?  Have you participated in the Biltwell 100 but want to attempt to actually race it?  Are you a vintage rider who has never done anything like this before and are unsure if your bike can even make it to the grocery store?  Can your body even make it to the grocery store?  Well fret not!

I am opening the Homestead Ranch for friends and friends of friends who would like to get a weekend out of the city and beat the hell out of themselves for two days in an effort to prepare their body & bikes for the Biltwell 100 happening on April 11 & 12.  This weekend is intended for novice and vintage off-road maniacs.  The ranch is located on the extreme southern tip of the Sierra Nevada in the mountains of Kern County.

Participants will want to get up here Friday night for a solid two days of training on Sat & Sun.  We will utilize the ranch for practice.  We will head out to some sand washes for repeat runs.  We will ride beat up dirt roads slowly at first, then again faster and then faster!  We will do some high speed runs up Paiute Mountain and back down.  We will have support vehicles to drag your carcasses back to the ranch for repair (bodies and bikes!).  We will have hearty meals prepared for breakfast lunch & dinner.  It will be a hoot.  The ranch is the same elevation and terrain as the Biltwell 100 course.
