Creative Riding Episode 138 “Nagano”

Ordinary riders doing extraordinary things

Creative Riding Episode 138 “Nagano”

Welcome to episode 138, the Nagano one.

Happy Friday everyone. I hope you’re ready for some racing and news and straight up blabbing.

I start off this week’s show with last weekend’s ride.
I traveled down to San Diego, a border town with a clandestine moto-culture. The splintered and disparate community there is what the first segment is about.
I traveled down to help Dave & Jen, owners of Cerberus Moto, with moving some of their former livelihood out of their DIY garage.
It is with great sadness that I report to you this: Cerberus Moto is gone.
What caused the collapse of the DIY scene in San Diego and will Cerberus Moto ever rise again? Stay tuned and find out.

There is also some industry and racing news.
The last Hayden retires, Russia has a giant state-sanctioned motorcycle, Suzuki Vintage runs Classic TT on Isle of Man, 2 U.S. Motocross de Nations teams announced (kinda), and more.

The final segment is baffling: New part or new bike? Which would you prefer? Listen and you’ll see what I mean.

Please leave a review in iTunes, Sound Cloud, Stitcher, or what ever county jail you’re in where they force you to listen to crummy motorcycle podcasts as punishment.
