Harley-Davidson’s Livewire to come aLive?

Thanks to a tip from guest Nitrous Chris (Episode 11), apparently a local news station in Wisconsin announced that the Harley-Davidson Livewire will be hitting the market in the future… 2021 to be exact.
That will be almost a decade after showcasing it to the public. That seems about right for a company still making bikes from the 90’s. Apparently it will be able to achieve nearly 150miles per charge, which is astounding for Victory and Zero, let alone Harley-Davidson.
I guess waiting for that sort of range is worth it since the other manufacturers are just going to be hitting that mark as well.
I chalk the 5 year release date up to the time that their marketing dept. will need to convince the Harley faithful that electric is cool. They probably also want a little time to further develop the bike and figure out a cruiser design that they can slot the motor into.
I guess better late than never, eh, Harley?
