MPC Call-In for team CR challenge riders…
JULY 28th
“When is that dirtbag Junky going to have a CREATIVE RIDING MPC wrap-up roundtable? Next year?” – Billy, Turning Butte, MT
“Ummm, hello? I thought you were going to do an MPC show, like 4 weeks ago.”
– Tina, Hooberville, MN
“Did you guys already publish your MPC follow-up show? Were the riders on it?”
– Stan, Waverly, SC
“WTF?! I’ve been waiting to be on a podcast forever. Any podcast”
– Ted, Broken Toe, NY
Alright MPC squad. The challenge is already WAAAY in the books, and I think it’s about time to do a Creative Riding only show.
Why did I wait so long? I’ve been asking myself that question too.
Major reason:
1. I wanted to let Loud Pipes get all of their shows done out of courtesy for their rights to the contest.
Minor reasons:
2. Co-host bike fail/ co-host crash (we’ve been addressing that one little by little)
3. 10-day Family vacation happened
4. I wanted to get stuff together and mail it out before doing a show.
5. Purchase a new bike for next year6…. No real GOOD reason to delay any further. Each bullet point represents about one week of time, so I’m still overdue for our MPC wrap-up.
JULY 28th – Call In Event (time TBA)
I’ll post a link to the chat on the MPC Squad’s Facebook Page. We’ll talk about the 2019 MPC briefly, but I really want to focus on what the positives were, and what your take-aways from the challenge were. Did it get you to places you’ve never been before? Did it make you want to be funny, or fear for your life while you lurked around neighborhoods photographing street signs? Would you like to add an element like that for Spooky Spokes, Solstice Slam, or would you like CR to try to organize a scavenger hunt?
We’ll get together and talk about all that, plus we can shoot the breeze about your highs and lows of the 2019 MPC and what you did to recover.
-Junky out!
