Well, the temps are warm for January. It’s currently 60°F and it will be 70 today.
That’s because we are getting warm wind blowing in from the desert. Hopefully we don’t lose power later, as gusts are expected to get up to 80-100 mph through the passes. The mountains work like a venturi on a carburetor and increase the velocity of the moving air.
The warm air also means possible lightning as it clashes with the cold air on this sea-side of the mountains, resulting in wind-fueled wild fires. Yippee!!
I might go ride while I can.
