One Minute on the Kern River

Ordinary riders doing extraordinary things

One Minute on the Kern River

This was from Labor Day weekend. We rode around for a couple of hours south of the Sequoia National Forest. The southern tip of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and the Walker Basin near the Lake Isabella and the Kern River provided stunning vistas and great back roads.

The weather was warm in the valleys, and we stopped for some gas and grub. I bought a sandwich and some Pedialyte to hydrate with.

We found a cool, shady spot by the river and ate lunch while kayakers and white water rafters negotiated the rapids.

Sorry this is only a quarter of a minute.
