Seasons Greetings

Ordinary riders doing extraordinary things

Seasons Greetings

From Junky-

“Hey Patrons! As the new year approaches, I wanted to say thanks for your continued support over the last year. I hope the gift exchange idea is fun for everyone, and ties our group together a little tighter.

You all help more than you know, and being able to connect in a personal way makes our group different from the shows that have hundreds or thousands of patron supporters. I dig the vibe, and over the past couple of years I feel like our show has made our patrons a part of the actual show cast in a way.

We talk about what you’re up to, you’re our friends and we’ve actually had the chance to meet a few people in person. There’s the Motorcycle Podcasters Challenge that actually basically stars you all, because the hosts don’t matter.

Well, the show is changing in 2020 somewhat. Not a ton from the output perspective, but behind the scenes a lot is going on or “in the works”. A feature that I want to implement in the new year is Patron Stories.

Each month I want to contact a different patron and over the course of the month, chat a few times about what brought you to motorcycles and your story in general. I know many of you have super interesting histories and backgrounds that eventually led to you hopping on two wheels. For others, your story didn’t begin until you got on two wheels, and there have been some epic rides and journeys in this group.

So I’ll be reaching out to you peeps over the next few weeks. I can already tell you that Nerissa is going first, because ladies first- and I already brought this up to her. I was waiting for her to get back from Thailand, and now I’m waiting until after my visit from Krampus and the Mari Llwyd.

So, have a good new year, and we’ll talk soon!!

I’ll keep you posted on the changes. For instance, as our network fleshes out there maybe some new pods on the way. Junky may be off the air for a bit, since he’s probably going to be working on development and production. Some of the stuff may never see the light of day, and some of the new Creative Riding segment ideas may also get binned. We’ll just have to see how things shake up in the next few months.”
