The Californian Returns
-FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – The Californian Classic & Custom Motorcycle Show – MARCH 7th, 2026
The Californian is proud to announce its return to Santa Anita Park on Big ‘Cap Day, March 7! We are even more proud to announce our 2026 presenting sponsor, Classic British Spares!

With the Quail Motorcycle Gathering taking a year off, The Californian will be the only concours motorcycle show on the west coast this year. Save the date and join us for an afternoon celebrating classic & custom motorcycles and the folks that pilot them.
SCHEDULE
Friday March 6
Noon-3pm: Vendor & early motorcycle load in
3pm: Group ride up Azusa Canyon
6pm: Dinner & Camaraderie
Saturday March 7
8am-10am: Event setup & motorcycle load in

1pm: Awards ceremony
2pm: Cali Picnic (sponsored by Peroni Nastro Azzurro)
330pm: Cali Pinewood Derby (sponsored by JRC Engineering)
630pm: Wrap & Load Out

Because we have so many folks coming in from out of town, we are moving forward with a ride & group dinner on Friday afternoon. Vendors & sponsors MUST move in on Friday and it is preferred that show bikes are delivered Friday as well. Santa Anita Park has excellent security to keep an eye on everything overnight. While we are waiting to hear back from potential partnering hotels, there are many options to those joining us from out of town.

It takes a village to produce The Californian and I am proud to announce our partnering sponsors, Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, Mecum Motorcycle Auctions, Motorcycle Rehab Company & McMarro Family Restaurants. It is because of their financial commitment that we are able to continue to offer this premium show to y’all the incredible cost of $5 per person that goes directly to Santa Anita Park for all of their services.

We also have early support from long time supporters Moto Chop Shop, Moto Republic, Choppers Magazine, Barnett Clutch & Cable & Biltwell, Inc. JRC Engineering is returning as the official sponsor of the pinewood derby and long time friends at Peroni Nastro Azzurro have stepped up to sponsor the Cali Picnic, complimentary to all sponsors and staff & available as an add on to pre-registered motorcycle show entrants.

Of course no motorcycle show is complete without our local clubs! We have confirmation from the BSA Owners Club of Southern California & the Velocette Owners Club of North America on their participation. Lidia Navarro & La Viclera is going to add their lowrider flair for the first time, supporting The Californian “Pushers”, a handful of volunteers who will be on site all day to help push motorcycles through the Gate 6 tunnel as well as getting winning bikes on stage at the awards ceremony.

And after a couple years of conflicting schedules, we are excited to announce that the Beachside Motorcycle Club will be hosting the official ride to the event on Saturday morning! More info on the BMC and the ride on March 7 can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/513560133616203/

We have ample room for vendors and we welcome sponsors who would like to get noticed at the Californian. Vendor spaces are $250 per 10×10 spot with the option to get your logo on the poster & web for another $250. Sponsorship packages have different ranges based on your budget and we are still looking for a sponsor for the 2026 marque, “BRITISH”. Please contact Brady if you’re interested in sponsoring the event and I will send over the sponsor deck. Sponsorship will close at the end of January in order to finalize the official poster. Did I mention that the sexy Seth Trench created this year’s image? Thank you Seth and the Willow Wankers for your support!
