These are the rules from the WIR Top 10 list as run in 2016-17:
Here are the basics if you’re interested:
Top 10 Bike
1/4 mile pro-tree
Anything goes
Top 10 SWB
1/4 mile pro-tree
Bike must be stock wheelbase for your year and model
No wheelie bars
Both lists rider must be the owner of the bike. No hired jockeys.
Call out procedures
1.) All call outs must be done on Top 10 Facebook page or face to face at the track
2.) After call out has been made notify Jason Gulmire for the Top 10 Bikes or Aaron Schuh for the Top 10 SWB to make call out official
3 .) The winner of a spot gets to call out the spot ahead before the spot below calls them out unless there is a callback
4.) A callback is allowed if you defend a spot and lose
5.) Anybody that wants to call out #10 will be on deck and get their chance in the order they approached Jason or Aaron
6.) No show/breakage will be treated like you are present or able to race but do not show up in the lanes. You lose that round and the person below you can call you out and then they get your spot the next round. Potential to lose 1 spot for every round of list races we get in.
7 .) Betting is not mandatory or even encouraged. But it’s not against the rules either. If you and your buddy want to put something on the race, fine, but keep it on the down low. We have a lot of new racers and want to attract more and we don’t want them scared off thinking it’s something they have to do to run with us.
