Jae update:

So, I’ve been talking to Ashley all week, and the Moto1 family as well about Jae’s disappearance last weekend, (Jan 18, 2020). I wanted everyone here who supports the show to know that Jae is ok, but won’t be on the show anymore.  

I know she appreciated your support both on and off the show. Thank you to everyone who bought art and stickers from her in the past. She really loved interacting and drawing your bikes!

She was always brainstorming with me about how to make cool Patron only content and gift items. She had some bright ideas for segments and directions for the show. If you ever met her in person, you know that she was never afraid to walk up to any stranger and start talking to them about motorcycles. Motorcycles truly were her passion.  

She was a little crazy on them, to be sure… she is probably more of of an ACTUAL hooligan than me and Wiggins combined, which got her into trouble now and then. But she was always full-throttle on the streets or in her head.  That’s why it saddens me to say that she probably got a little too far into the rabbit hole that the human brain turns into when it falters in its orbit of rationale.   

Jae was incarcerated last weekend, and has been charged with some pretty heinous offenses. It’s a long list and it should have never happened. On the bright side, Ashley is doing everything possible to keep her out of serious trouble, and her bail was reduced from $262,500 down to $100,000. So that’s a start.   

Some friends and family have been able to visit with her, but it sounds like it will be a while before she can get sorted out and back on the road to recovering personally from what has happened.   She has a long road ahead of her, and I know she was already suffering from chronic pain and “too-many-motorcycles-not-enough-money-itis” as it was. Her current situation has added to that pile of headaches I’m sure.   

I will keep you updated, and when a long-term sentence is reached, I will forward any contact information to you incase you’d like to reach out to the Flying Banana.   

Please keep this info under your hat, as I don’t want any rumors or opinions interfering with the facts in her pending case.
