Creative Riding Episode 085 “Bangin'”

Welcome all to episode 85!

Thins episode is bangin’!!!

Starting out, thanks to all of the past guests and listeners. It’s been a while since we actually broke down the stats.

17:30:00 = Corrections corner. Correcting some of last week’s mis-spoken words.

Part one starts at about 23:00:00, and it’s called Dirty Bike Talk.
We like to use our bikes to go fast and get dirty now and again, but what about gettin’ dirty off the bike? Just like a race, there are a handful of ways that walking the walk and talking the talk can go right or so very, very wrong.
I hope you’ll agree that this information in bangin’ in a big way.

28:15:00 = Speaking of big bangin’, have you ever heard of a big banger? It’s a motor that uses British sausages to make loads of tractionable power. I’m no engineer or motor builder, but I’ll do my best to explain big bang motors and the traction that they provide. It will also help explain one of the reasons why you won’t find inline four cylinders on flat tracks or in any dirt/dual sport bikes.

The Big Bang Twingle will also explain why the Harley-Davidson XR750 has dominated flat track until its replacement by the XG750R. The information discussed may also explain why H-D doesn’t stand a chance this year in American Flat Track. Hint: Indian did what Harley-Davidson did back in 1970.

Let’s Finish the show with podcast roundup and C.R.A.P. (Creative Riding Ad Partners) recap of a little Facebook post that we had.
