In this episode there is no host! I was so excited about Motorcycles & Misfits accidentally following us on our sound cloud page that I forgot to call him in time to head down to the studio. : /

We’re finally going to talk about CITS

If you’re not familiar with C-ITS it stands for Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems

Car manufacturers have been developing technology in this field for well over a decade in an effort to make transportation of goods and people safer. Now motorcycle OEMs are participating in the development of these standards as well.

Here’s an example of how it is currently being developed and applied:

IMS: It was the shit. It is slowly returning to its former glory. It can only be as good as the motorcycle industry in general, but it’s coming back. I take back everything that Danny said last week about the show sucking. It did suck, but that was yesteryear, and the world was in the middle of eating a huge shit pie… and in a way it still is. Regardless, the MC industry is making a slow but strong comeback.

Las Vegas, ah…..the drive from an Urban Mecca to the Urban ShitHole (albeit a shithole full of money) is chronicled at www.creative-riding.com. The best part of that trip was seeing the historic first Superprestigio of the Americas and meeting Andre Block. He was riding his bicycle from Knoxville, TN to Los Angeles, CA… a bike people! Why? To raise awareness for lupus. See his story at www.karmaride.org

Thanks for hanging around and listening. If we’re not good by episode 10, then you come on and host the fucking show!!!
