Ordinary riders doing extraordinary things

This is what a podcast sounds like unedited

This is the failed brake challenge and FART extravaganza that went down a few weeks ago. Most of it was chopped out of the regular show. If you listen carefully to this whole thing, you’ll hear the parts that made the final cut.

As you can see by the nearly 3 hour length, it’s easy for people to drop in and blab. Of course if it’s about motorcycles, it’s that much easier.

It’s my job as the producer to make people feel at home and get the story out. Some times that takes three hours (the sidecar episode was another example). It’s also my job to keep people on track and keep the show rolling, but there’s always the chance that it takes three hours to get a good story and you’re just going to have to do a lot of editing.

After sitting in basically a virtual pit for three hours recording (think sitting trackside in canvass chairs with beers, but no pop-up overhead), I re-listen to the show and edit for content, privacy, and sometimes to avoid lawsuits. With Wiggins always ranting on the show, it’s a possibility.
